Eggs from pasture raised poultry

Our gardens are fenced off from our poultry and they have full pasture rights on all unfenced ground.  They are raised humanely and as a rule, we have some of the happiest chickens I have ever had the pleasure of managing.  Chicken stories to be posted, I'm sure...

Eggs are collected, floated, candled as needed and sealed in food grade mineral oil to ensure their quality and extend their shelf life to 4 months.

Eggs are selling for $3.00 a dozen off the farm   We are hoping to keep the price at $3.00 for 2018 .

We will be licensing for eggs in 2018 for sales to restaurants, bakeries and specialty markets.

Pasture Raised Chicken for Meat

We raise chickens for meat on the ground once the birds are old enough to be out of the brooders.  The birds feast on grass and clover all day and are locked into a portable house for their safety from predators at night.  We  the like to have the seasons orders by the end of February but we have created deadlines per batch for the 2018 season. If you want to order these birds and the deadline has passed, call the farm to see if there are any extra we can reserve for you.  Follow the link for the pastured poultry order form from the home page or leave mailing or email information so we can send you a contract.  We are estimating cost per pound at about $3.00/pound.  These birds will average between 4 1/2 and 7 1/2 pounds each.  The first pickup date generally will yield heavier birds.  At this point, we will not be certifying these birds as "organic".
